I Took A Walk...

So much of what this website is — aspires to be — is because of the man, the myth, the legend of Anthony Bourdain; the same can be said about me. I am sure many are grappling with a similar sensation. Tony just had that sort of presence — even from behind the television screen as most of us knew him.

While today's news has been jarring, daunting, and deeply upsetting, we also want to celebrate the man who taught us how to appreciate that we are all more alike than different, how to eat with every sense we have, how to practice random acts of kindness everywhere we go, and how living life to its fullest means sometimes — unfortunately — grappling with your share with demons.

We will miss Anthony Bourdain greatly, and hope his family and loved ones find comfort and solace during this difficult time.

And to those struggling: you are not alone.
